Stavroula Makri is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sport (DUTH), who has majored in “Adapted Physical Education” and a minor in “Rehabilitation & Specific Diseases, Tae-kwon-do”. She holds a Postgraduate degree in Management and Administration of Sports Organizations and Operations, majoring in the Organization and Management of Health Improvement Program (T.O.D.A). She is certified in Aquatic therapy- Bad Ragaz Ring method-AQUA PNF. She has attended seminars on CPR and on how to use an automatic external defibrillator (BLS/AED). She has dealt with research concerning the quality of life of people with Multiple Sclerosis, presenting papers at conferences.
She has worked in exercise programs for disabled persons (K.E.K.Y.K.A.meA. Messinia, Komotini Special school) and the “SPORTS FOR ALL” municipal programs. She has played a coaching role at the Kalamata Municipal Swimming Pool. In 2010, she joined the ”DIAPLASIS” RRC team in hydrotherapy and ergometry departments.
